Build In Me

We’re so excited to continue sharing original music written from this church, for this church. The third song we’re sharing is ”Build in Me”

This song was written in response to a prophetic word shared with our staff team early last year. We sensed the Lord saying that before The Parks Church began a building project, the Spirit first wanted to do a deeper work within us—one that only He could accomplish. The Lord was calling us to a greater hunger for His presence, persistence in prayer, and a renewed commitment to holiness and repentance.

We sat with this call and began writing the lyrics to this song. On the day we finished writing this song, we heard the actual walls of the corner building—where our future sanctuary would stand—fall to the ground. It was a powerful moment symbolising the work the Spirit had already begun. This song will forever be an altar in the life of The Parks Church, marking the faithfulness of God and the work of His Spirit among us.

Join us in praying these words:

“Build in me a hunger for Your presence,
Holiness and reverence,
A love that won’t run dry.

Build in me a willingness to listen,
A heart that is repentant,
In awe of who You are.”

We pray that these songs would continue to minister uniquely to this body and encourage us to live lives of worship together.

Thank you for worshiping with us!
